Psychosocial Support

Psychosocial support services and socio-economic development have been immpemented since 2015. 

Through the Safety and Peace through Urban Upgrading programme, the MBDA implemented psychosocial projects in Helenvale and Gelvandale. Initiatives included safer schools programmes, domestic violence prevention partnerships, and youth development services. Activities ranged from leadership camps and sports events to counselling, career guidance, and business support for young people. These projects promoted safety, well‑being, and opportunities for the community.
